I've been riding horses for about 9 years now. I started out when I was 7 years old at a horse camp for my birthday, I was hooked! After that camp I begged my Mom to sign me up for lessons! The first two years I rode English. As much as I loved English, I found a knew love for Western. After the 2nd year of riding English, I decided to move ranches and start my Western adventure. I found one of the most amazing trainers, Marika, she not only taught me how to ride, she taught me how to care for a horse, what to do when they are hurt or sick, how to train horses, etc. She gave me so many opportunities to help with kids camps, join a 4H club, help with therapeutic riding, learning about different types of horse breeds and conditions, and to compete in a numerous amount of horse shows. When I competed I competed in many categories, my best was barrel racing. I wouldn't be nearly as educated and experienced in equestrian knowledge if it wasn't for her. My trainer most importantly made sure that me, and all the other kids she taught, to just have fun but to also be smart! I soon became one of her most seasoned riders on the ranch. At that point my trainer now expected more from me and put me to work. So we put on summer camps and Halloween shows for the local kids. I loved teaching the kids to ride, care for the horse, feed the horse, handle the horse. My love and unique connection with horses helps in the training process. I have had many experiences with lots of different types of horses and their breeds, and other animals. I also have been in many types of situations and have been taught to handle them in the appropriate way of the situation. I have always had a natural connection with animals, but my connection with horses is unbelievable. After growing up with horses and having trainers and finding Marika, I became more of a helper, assistant, volunteer, ranch hand, ect. and now I would love to start a new chapter in my life by creating my own horse training business. I would love to do so much more like, rescue, offer riding lessons, and create a horse shelter, but unfortunately I do not live on enough property to hold many horses. However I plan to one day upgrade the business to a higher standard with more options and property. To start off my training company, I will be mobile, meaning, me and one other assistant of mine will come out, observe the client and situation and work several times a week continuously until the work is accomplished. Don't underestimate my age, I may be young but my calmness, softness, niceness, toughness, and youthful approach can work to my advantage in many cases with the horses, the owners, and kids! Of course I have my own equipment and tack and everything will travel with me! Later into the business, I hope to have many more options! Help me follow my dream and start my career by giving me a chance! I wont let you down!
